Toné Chin - 510.541.2378 - tonay@hotmail.cojm
Position: Foredeck
Experience: Advanced
Comments: I only do bow but I do this very well. Three time Big Boat Series champ (2008, 2009, and 2010) on two different 1D35s, Diablita and Dark and Stormy. Experienced racing on 1D35, Farr 36, J120, J105, Soveral 33, Melges 24 or any boat with asymmetric or symmetric kites, bow sprit, prod, dip-pole, or end-for-end pole set up. If you need a fast transition around the marks or a quick recovery from a blown kite, I'm your man! Skilled in jib and spinnaker peels. More than just skills, I posess quick pace and drive. I'm light weight for the front end, but fast and strong. I don't want to just participate, I want to win. I might sound cocky on this posting (as bowmans usually are), but mild mannered and team player in person. 150 lbs of pure energy. Good luck to all. Godspeed.

Comments: I'm a highly experienced bowman, foredeck (mast, pit, sewer) and trimmer, comfortable in other positions as needed. I'm 37 y.o. and live in the marina. In terms of experience, I've been sailing since I was 6, started with dinghy's and worked my way up, sailing lasers, 420s, solings, j24s, j105, farr's, racing/cruisers of various sizes and 12 meters, to name a few, mostly onshore racing but some offshore/overnight as well. I've spent the last 10 years racing heavily on 12 meters out of Newport, RI. I recently moved to the Bay Area and looking to do some serious racing either as a one off or long-term. Give me a shout if you need someone, even if it's short notice. Best, Dan
