Im an experienced sailor looking for a boat.
I have done several thousand miles of Offshore racing, including the Round Gotland race in Sweden, and the Geraldton ocean classic in Australia.
I am comfortable with all positions on the boat, and I have a strong navigational background.
I have worked as a sailing instructor and also been a SAR volunteer boat operator for several years with Coastguard NZ.
I will be in Miami during September-December training for a new job as an airline pilot on the Boeing 747, so Im also interested in other races during this time.
My nautical qualifications include;
Deck Officer Class VII
Engineer Officer class VIII
STCW Basic safety and advanced firefighting
Radar/Arpa cert
MROC/ROC radio certification HF/VHF
Marine Medic/SAR Medic
I have mostly raced on;
Mumm 36
Farr 1 and 2 tonners
Fareast 28
