Comments: It's been very difficult to find someone willing to take on a newbie; but I assure you, you will not regret it! I have no experience in Ocean Racing but i'm trying hard to get into this amazing sport. I'm new to racing and sailing but not to the water! I grew up in the waters of Jamaica Bay and coastal southern Long Island and currently own a Catalina 25 which I single hand in Jamaica Bay and south shore of LI. I have done a little racing in Huntington Bay on Wednesday nights in the summer on board Strider. I love the thrill of the race and the camaraderie of the crew but the race is just over to soon! I've been looking to get into offshore racing and willing to take on any position. I will do whatever necessary to enter this awesome sport. I'm hard working, quick to learn, easy to get along with, a decent cook and willing to do any job to learn and gain experience.
