Hi, I"m a rusty, enthusastic sailor looking to crew for the 2023 Fall Brawl J/70 races.
My preference is just the Sunday race. If that's ridiculous, then Saturday & Sunday.
I haven't sailed / raced with the EYC events yet.
My last race was crew for the 2019 Mobjack Nationals in Lewes, Delaware. (We didn't win.)
I know most sailboat anatomy (but don't quiz me) and will do any crew role you want me to.
I have no racing experience as: Skipper, 1st mate, navigator.
I have rusty racing experience as: ballast, jib trimmer, foredeck / spinnaker.
I've crewed, sailed, or raced miscellaneous dinghies and sloops from 12 foot Force 5 to 45 foot Hinkley (crewed that one!) from New England and Texas lakes to Casco Bay, Maine and Long Island Sound.
Oh, I'm a guy. Born in the 1960s. Strong, but not a gym-goer.
