Position: Foredeck,Mast,Pit,Grinder,Jib Trimmer,Main Trimmer
Experience: Advanced
Comments: Hello All, I am excited to learn as much as I possible, contribute to the success of the boat and do anything asked of me. I have grown up sailing and boating around the cape and islands and have years of dinghy racing experience, as skipper, throughout my summers and high school. I am 21 years of age and have crewed as a competent foredeck, spinnaker trimmer, trimmer and various other positions. I am handy and capable of fixing or assisting with any maintenance on shore or underway. I was apart of team Selkie, a 32 Morris Yachts, in the 2019 Marion to Bermuda race. I completed both passages, as well as endless helming on the return passage, due to an engine failure and no autopilot capabilities. Please let me know if you have any questions and I am happy to provide a resume and references upon request.

Comments: I’ve done a bit of everything. I started racing 7 years ago on Ideal 18s, Sunfish, Lasers, Interclubs. I then raced with a J24 team for 5 years and have been with a J105 team in Annapolis for the past few years trimming, pit, sub on foredeck. I recently did a double handed race in Newport 65 nm on a Sabre 42. I learned a lot and would like to continue my journey of learning. I love sailing !!!!! It would be an honor and privilege to experience this amazing race. I look forward to speaking with you! Fair winds

WILLIAM (Bill) BALL - 443-803-3031 - BALLW@CHESAPEAKE.ORG
Position: All Positions
Experience: Advanced
Comments: Have been racing competitively on the Chesapeake Bay since age 10 (sailfish) and was North American champion crew in International 505 in 1972, Cork champion crew in 1979, and Bermuda Race Week champion crew in 1980. (yes-- all a long time ago!) . I continued racing one design dinghies (as both skipper and crew) until 1992. Since 1983 I have been bare-boat chartering (as skipper and principal responsible) 32- to 45-foot sailboats at multiple locations on the Chesapeake, in San Francisco Bay, the BVI, Florida, the Bahamas, and Greece. Since 2015 I have owned a Beneteau Oceanis 321 and have been racing it (successfully) in PHRF Spin 2 class of Friday night Beer Can races at EYC while also participating in Monday night team racing on J22s. I have crewed as tactician, helmsman, and sail trimmer on the Chicago to Macinac race (480 miles) and the Queen's Cup (90 miles; Racine, WI, to Milwaukee, WI). Am a fit, friendly, easy-going 65-year old who loves hiking, camping, sailing and looking for a friendly crew that is very competitive, but not obsessively so. (I take orders very well and willingly, but can only tolerate condescension or tantrums if they are followed by heartfelt apology.)

Position: Foredeck,Mast,Pit,Sewer,Grinder,Jib Trimmer,Main Trimmer,All Positions

Comments: Fit 24 year old ex-collegiate sailor looking for a boat to race on. I have diverse experience on all positions on many different boats. Just for a quick summary, I've raced as Bow on IODs, a 109, a 105, Sonars, a First 36.7, and more. Mast on J24s. Pit on a Sun Odyssey 379 and most boats I've been on. I've done Trim for all the boats listed. I teach sailing and race as close to daily as I can get. Significant dinghy racing experience as well. I am a team player and a quick study who is more than willing to work hard. My only close to offshore experience is the Beringer Bowl sailing (almost) outside of Mass Bay where I drove and trimmed at night. However, I'm looking to get into offshore racing and would appreciate being given a chance to test my mettle.

Bryan K. Fenoff - 610.453.4295 - gyber71@fenoff.org
Position: Foredeck,Mast,Pit,Sewer,Grinder,Jib Trimmer,Main Trimmer,Helm
Experience: Advanced
Comments: I have experience with full operation and repair of a vessel. I spent 2 years managing both power and sailing yachts down to the point of performing engine rebuilds. My crew experience is focused on coastal deliveries from Maine to FL west coast with stops everywhere in the middle. On one delivery I had to single hand the S/V for 2 days as the entire crew was down sick from seasickness. My skipper experience is focused in the Carib touring on charters on both mono and cats in the upper 40s to low 50s. Here I would also teach folks the basics of sailing and systems with a goal of having the new crew handling the boat without my involvement before the end of the trip. By personality I am in innovative problems solver and bring solutions to the table quickly but respect skipper's final decision. I am new to racing but I am EAGER TO WIN!
