Comments: I have been racing for the last five/six years, doing several Lake Ontario 300’s, the Susan Hood, Bayview Mack and regular weekly club racing. Usually glorified rail meat, sail trim, foredeck and some but very little time on the helm - usually during long distance racing. Looking to have some fun and finally get to do some sailing after last years season. I did have covid last year so fingers crossed I might be a little more able to fight it off. No plans to though - I do work from home. Would love to sail with you!

Good on helm, trimming, spinnaker, anything but foredeck, please. 1 year of commercial fishing in Alaska. 1 delivery trip from Vancouver to San Diego. Affable, funny, cook acceptably, excellent dishwasher, very handy (carpenter), good in a pinch, 14,000 songs on Ipod. Sorry, got rid of all the country and rap. Comments: I'd like to help make your race fast and enjoyable. I've raced the LO300 a few times and I'd like to build some more offshore miles racing. I have over 20,000 miles sailing and racing including some offshore, Caribbean and coastal island hopping, lots of round the buoys and coastal racing and coastal cruising. I've sailed a wide variety of boats from dinghies to square riggers, including First Class 10, First 40, Dehler 36, C&C 115, C&C 27 and many others. I enjoy all aspects of sailing from trimming to driving, cooking to engine maintenance. I regularly run the foredeck on a C&C115 and am very experienced trimming spinnakers, both asymmetrical and symmetrical. I am a mechanical engineer, have taken a diesel maintenance course and have more experience than I need from maintaining my own old boats. As long as you don't mind the occasional bad pun, I get along with pretty much everyone, especially those with a common interest in sailing. You can reply here, email, or message me @spinnaker_guy on Instagram

Comments: 30 years old no experience sailing. I'm a padi certified diver so I'm comfortable on and under the water, experienced rock climber so I know my knots. Just bought my first boat and was told this is the best way to learn to sail.

Position: Pit,Jib Trimmer,Helm
Experience: Novice
Comments: I have raced competitively on Lake Ontario and sailed/lived aboard a boat for four years (sailing her double handed from Lake Ontario to Guatemala). Club raced for four years (helming for 3, winning women on the helm, and overall for our class). Raced LOSHRs, Susan Hood, and LO300 all doublehanded spinnaker with no autohelm (and while we were leading at the half way mark, sleep management was our enemy on the 300 lol). It’s a goal of mine to conquer and finish this race (preferably with a flag ??). Would like to join a like minded skipper and crew. Comfortable on trim (main, gib, spinnaker), helming, and pit. Also used to doing food prep and cooking in the galley while underway. Crew member at PCYC and am more than willing to practice and familiarize on your boat in advance of this race. Let’s do this!

Comments: Looking to do another 300 after some years away. Raced on C&C 99 and 115 in five races 2009-2013, 2010 Chicago-Mac on a C&C 115, then the 2014 Halifax-St Pierre on a Volvo 60. Lots of long-distance experience since 1998. Prefer driving and tactician, but singlehanding my Mirage 25 has given me experience in all positions. Sea survival qualified. I'm in Toronto and able to practise prior to the race. Will do the Scotch Bonnet course as well.
