Comments: Hello. I'm a Swedish guy looking for crewing on a fast boat in Antigua Sailing week, 2022. I have been crewing on different boats mainly with friends on ½ , ¾ and One Tonners, never professionally. I grew up sailing in the Swedish archipelago racing On-shore and Off-shore Regattas. I have also done some Regattas in the Mediterranean, closed to Venice, for a couple of years. Then I lived in New Zealand, Auckland and was crewing on a Farr 10.20 for 3 years, on “Wednesday Evening Races” and also on the Farr 10.20 National Regatta, ending up as Third overall. I have mainly been crewing on the foredeck, and also trimming the foresails, Spinnaker, and sometime mail-sail. Not so much on the Whelm, except on long Off-shore regattas. I have moved back to Sweden and haven’t been Crewing the last 10 years, due to family, house, work etc.etc….. Now it’s time to change this and I love to participate in the Antigua Sailing week 2022. If you have a boat and would be interested, let’s us talk by Skype, Zoom etc. Best regards, Thomas

Comments: We are two 25 year olds (Holly and Anna) looking to join a semi-competitive or social crew at this years Antigua Sailing Week. The two of us met team racing Fireflies at university and have spent the past summer racing a Beneteau First 28.5 out of Hayling Island Sailing Club at Cowes Week, Round the Island and the Taittinger Regatta. Before making the switch to yacht racing we both spent our summers teaching sailing in Rhode Island and Greece respectively. Anna has her day skipper and is a member of the Royal Thames Yacht Club. Holly writes for luxury yachting magazine BOAT International. Our parents have told us that ASW is an absolute must and hopefully this is our year to take part. We know our way around a boat no problem and we are keen to keep competing and learning. Holly & Anna

Comments: US-based 31yo Australian chap looking to join a competitive or social crew for ASW 2022. I've been sailing as an amateur most of my life, and in the past few years have raced Cowes Week, Newport to Bermuda and Sydney to Hobart (twice), with passages up and down the US eastern seaboard, around Antigua and in the Med. I'm comfortable in most positions on boats from 30 to 60 feet, although the majority of my experience is in the middle of the boat (mast, pit, sewer, grinder) or supporting the foredeck. I'll be down in Antigua for a wedding, and would love to stick around for some racing and a bit of sun/rum afterwards! When I'm not sailing, I work as a management consultant in NYC. I love to compete, but otherwise I'm very laid back and up for a good time.

Position: All Positions

Comments: Usually I sail in Italy with my Ufo28, Melges24, Minitransat, but I have experience with any kind of boat (not foiling). I'm planning to spend my holidays in Antigua and I think that joining a crew during the Antigua Sailing Week: could be the best way to spend time there. I check the entry list and I see already 4 Melges24... So for me that could be the best choice!!! Let me know if there is a place available in your crew!!! Franco from Italy
