Safe Harbor Race Weekend 2023 Prize Giving - Dear Safe Harbor Race Weekend Sailors -
Please join us at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard tonight, starting at approximately 5:30pm, for our 2023 Prize Giving!
We will be presenting daily trophies for each class (1st place) along with series trophies (1st, 2nd and 3rd) for the regatta.
The bar will open at 5:00pm.

YOUR ATTENTION IS DIRECTED TO SAILING INSTRUCTIONS AMENDMENT #1 (POSTED ON THE EVENT WEBSITE LAST NIGHT), WHICH DETAILS AN AMENDED COURSE #1. THE CLASS STARTING ORDER IS FOUND IN AMENDED NOTICE #1.

Safe Harbor Race Weekend 2023: Check-In & Captains' Briefing - Dear Safe Harbor Race Weekend Competitors -
We are very excited that the 2023 edition of our regatta starts in just two days. Thank you all for racing with us this year - we hope you have a great regatta!
This is a reminder that we will be hosting a Captains' Briefing tomorrow, Thurs., Aug 10, at 5:30pm at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard, 1 Washington Street, Newport. Please plan to attend to collect your captain's bag (between 4:00-5:30pm) and wristbands, if you have purchased them, and hear from our Race Chair, Peter Craig, about the on-the-water plan for all boats racing with us this week.
Please be sure that your crew have all signed their crew waivers online through Yacht Scoring! Everyone must sign the waiver before you collect your captain's bag and wristbands.
We ask you please find parking along Washington Street or in the parking lot directly acorss from the Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard security gate. Parking will not be available inside the Shipyard due to very limited space.
If you cannot attend, we ask you please send someone from your boat in your absence.

Safe Harbor Race Weekend 2023: Social Events - Dear Safe Harbor Race Weekend 2023 Competitors -
We are very excited that Safe Harbor Race Weeked is just two weeks away! In preparation for Race Weekend, we ask you purchase your social event wristbands by this Friday, July 28, 2023. The wristbands include:
- Friday, August 11: Coastal New England Dinner (steamed lobsters, clams, mussels, corn, grilled chicken & more) presented by BMW, plus a hosted bar at Safe Harbor New England Boatworks from 6:30-9:30pm. Singer Will Evans will perform live after the awards!
- Saturday, August 12: Talk of the Town Crew Party (light mariners fare, hosted bar) presented by X-Shore at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard from 6:30-9:30pm. Local favorite reggae band The RAVERS will perform live after the awards!
Wristbands can be purchaesd on the Yacht Scoring website (https://yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eid=15574) and are $125/each.
