Pre-Cowes Week Regatta - EVENT CANCELLATION -

Dear Competitors,

I am sorry to inform you that key members of our Race Team for the Pre Cowes Week Regatta were contacted yesterday by NHS Test and Trace to self isolate. We have been working to see if we can find some alternatives to support this event but unfortunately this has not been possible. We regret that we will have to cancel this event. 

The Club will refund all entry and berthing fees paid and an informal Club race is taking place on Sunday, which you can find more information about at https://www.royal-southern.co.uk/calendar/events/event/10252, with all welcome to get some sailing this weekend. We are happy to waive the entry fee for all XODs and will run a separate start for you once we have set off the main fleet. Please do enter though so we know who we are expecting. 

All of us at the Royal Southern have been looking forward to welcoming the XOD fleet to the Club this weekend and we will work with the sailors to arrange some XOD sailing later this season. We are sorry for the inconvenience this will cause and we do hope to see you at the Club again soon.
