Facts
The protest is valid.
On the final windward leg to the finish, near the entrance to Spa Creek, Chicken Little 1657 left 1SC to starboard.
Conclusion
In accordance with SI Attachment B, Chicken Little failed to sail the course and broke RRS 28.1.

Facts
The Protest is valid.
All protesters were notified of the hearing.
The Protest Committee proceeded under RRS 63.3(b). Querencia II declined to participate.
At the time of incident the conditions were: wind gusting to 12 kts, 285 degrees, shifting counterclockwise. Boats were traveling at 3.5-4 knots.
No spinnakers were allowed in this race.
Approaching the leeward Mark G”7” to be rounded to starboard,
three boats on starboard tack were overlapped on a broad reach
when entering the zone.
Querencia II – 53399 (“Q”), a 35 foot boat, entered the zone first. She was overlapped to leeward of Fahrvergnugen 1569 (“F”).
Makani – 5854 (“M”) was sailing a course closest to the mark.
F was overlapped to leeward of M and to windward of Q.
All three boats were above the lay line as they entered the zone.
M was sailing to the mark on a converging course with F.
Within two boat lengths of the mark Q gybed to port.
F was able to keep clear of M.
M and F were able to round the mark with no contact.
Conclusion
Q gybed away giving mark room to F and M. F was able to keep clear of M. F and M were able to sail in the mark room they were given.
