2024 Chicago Regatta Racing Cancelled -

Hello Competitors, 

We were all set for a terrific regatta tomorrow, but Mother Nature and Lake Michigan have other plans. Unfortunately, the current and projected high winds and rough sea-state tomorrow are forcing us to cancel all buoy and distance racing tomorrow. For those still looking for an opportunity to race: you can still register for the Sheldon Clark Regatta on September 14th at this link: https://yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=16406. Both buoy and distance racing available.

The My Kind of Town Party and dinner will go on tomorrow evening as scheduled at 5 p.m. at Monroe Station. Please come to meet representatives of the three incredible charities we support (Chicago Yacht Club Foundation, Big Brother Big Sister of Metro Chicago, and One Family Illinois), enjoy Chef Larry's creations, and dance to the rocking music of Sons of Chicago featuring songs by Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger.
